1976–1993Look in the passenger-side dash/glove-box area shown in the illustration for the identification plate.
E-Z-GO TXT & Medalist
1994–PresentTXT and Medalist labels are commonly found in the passenger-side dash/glove-box area on earlier vehicles. Later TXT vehicles can also carry identification labels below the driver-side seat and on the frame.
E-Z-GO RXV

How E-Z-GO Identification Numbers Work
On many older E-Z-GO carts, the serial number is simply the vehicle's unique production identifier and does not directly tell you the year. A separate manufacture or date code is often needed. Because E-Z-GO used different coding formats across generations, this page only returns a year when the code can be interpreted conservatively.
